Cold cast Bronze Statues also know as bronze resin. Bronze powder is mixed with epoxy resin to produce a material which is applied to the interior of a silicone mould taken from the original sculpture. Subsequent applications produces a shell into which an armature (wire frame) is constructed. The mould is then filled with a blend of resin and metal powders which are left to set. The finished result is barely distinguishable in weight or feel from solid bronze.
Paul Jenkins studied at Dudley College of Art and has become renowned for his interpretations of wildlife and hares in particular. His work has received many awards and accolades.
